Spoiler alert. My profile picture is not a picture. That was never a captured photograph. In fact some might say that person doesn't and has never existed. Sort of. I used an AI service and uploaded about a dozen, maybe 20 pictures of myself doing various things over the course of about 5 years (I don't really take many selfies, so I had to reach back a ways). The service returned to me 100 beautiful business ready professional headshots. For under 30 bucks. Some were better than others, to be sure, but out of 100 I pulled at least 25 that I would be happy to use as representation. And that was January. This train moves fast, I'm betting ChatGPT can do as well right now, though maybe would take a while to get 100 of them. If interested, this is what I used. Today I want to give props to NotebookLM, which played a big role in my study strategy in acquiring the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification this morning! This tool is incredible! I was able to take detailed notes from Stephane Maarek’s Udemy course and combine them with other notes I found online. NotebookLM let me turn all of that into organized study material, flashcards, and even podcasts, which made learning much more effective. I know I’m only scratching the surface of what it can do, but I can already say it’s been a game-changer for my prep. That's my big win for today! 🎉

I saved one hour of time today. I dropped the transcript of an hour-and-10-minute video into ChatGPT. Then it produced a highlights document, which I read in five minutes. I was able to pull what I needed out of it and focus. Instead of sitting in front of my video screen for an hour. To quantify this, that saved me about $225 at my hourly rate, but the value to me is much more than that. I will continue to use this tool and get better with more tools to save even more time.

I got done with the week 2 lesson on iterative prompting for something I've been working on. Then I figured, "Hey, I'd try and get this affiliate link thing going" and asked ChatGPT to write some Facebook posts for me. Spent about 10 minutes going back and forth with it and finally made a public Facebook post. Here it is. Let me know what you think.
