Pain Points
I wanted to ask if we can discuss some pain points with AI, just because it doesn't do everything right or correctly. One big issue is hallucination, another can be memory, and even another is coding. Like last night I was going through putting together code for an app, but it kept iterating through the same mistake over and over again (arrgggghhhh!). In order to resolve this, I post the same issue on another channel and it seems to get through it. I lao plan to use other GPTs to see what they will do also in remedying this. Maybe a channel or conversation devoted to this will help those in need of help or who encounter similar issues (doesn't just have to be code of course, it can be anything). That way when folks stumble upon similar issues it has been discussed here. Any thoughts?

@Geoffery Richards I've noticed the instructions can't get too big though, or it will sometimes ignore/miss some things. I've had better success putting longer instructions in the knowledge section.

@Michael Wish Oh this sounds great, I'll have to try this for my next thing, GPT is like the architect, Claude the engineer. 👍

@Eric Poe Nice, your GPT got a bit more than mine. Maybe I need to make a custom GPT Head of IRS personality.

@Eric Poe At the very least it would be nice to run side-by-side with software that does the heavy lifting for you. Awesome that you enjoy tax prep, maybe you can stress test the AI.
Cleaning up my GPT
Hey all, Before I learned how to create individual GPTs, I was using ChatGPT as more of a search function so that the side panel is now filled with a bunch of useless searches (picture attached is from Reddit). Does anyone know a more efficient way of cleaning up my sidebar besides manually going in and deleting each "chat"/search? Thanks!

@Michael Wish It would be a really great QoL to be able to organize it though, which is what is so frustrating with the projects tabs just above it.

@Michael Wish I meant just organizing the sidebar so its not so ridiculous looking, but I will look into automating it into my obsidian as well!
🚨 AI News - Tues 23 Sep 🚨
Here's a very short update: - AI as a Built-In Assistant: AI is now seamlessly integrated into everyday tools like Google Chrome and Meta's new smart glasses to save time and effort. - Hardware is a Key Player: The AI race is as much about physical hardware and infrastructure, like OpenAI's use of Apple devices and Amazon's new robotaxi service, as it is about software. - Immediate Tools for You: Advanced AI is providing practical tools right now, like Notion AI, that can immediately help side hustlers with tasks like research and client management. @Geoffery Richards Google Glass 2.0, the recent demo shows it still has some work to do.

I have Firefox, so this is the first I'm hearing of an embedded AI. I've tried the sidebar ones before and didn't think much of it, but the embedded stuff sounds much cooler. I'm excited to hopefully implement this, as I also open tens of tabs I never look at 😂
Marketing Hooks
AI or Die Family. My wife and I are launching Two Maids of Harford County—local, insured, and focused on helping busy households win back their free time. We do recurring and deep cleans with vetted pros, pet-friendly tools, and fast online booking. You come home to a tidy, calm space—no scramble, no stress. As part of completing the AI or Die business & marketing coursework, we developed a set of hooks for our marketing (social, Google, etc.). We’d love your take. Which 3 taglines resonate most with you—meaning they’d make you at least stop and look at the ad and maybe, over time, schedule a free estimate?(If the poll only lets you pick one, please vote for one and comment the other two.) Bonus Ask: Tell us your biggest cleaning pain point (bathrooms, floors, pet hair, or “everything”). Your feedback helps us tailor services for real homes. 🙏 Thank you in advance for any help

Personally, I like drop the mop for sure, I'm a sucker for rhymes (and alliteration). My GPT disagrees with me though: " Looking at your list, here’s what jumps: - “Time back now” → Immediate, emotional win. Everyone’s chasing more time. - “Weekends back” → Specific and powerful — people hate losing their weekends to cleaning. - “Guest-ready” → Taps into embarrassment/fear of messy homes, but flips it positive: confidence when friends/family drop by. Those three hit the broadest audience pain points (time, freedom, social confidence). Yours is clever, but it leans more on wordplay than urgency."

@David Padilla Huh, I would have thought our GPTs would recommend the same thing here, similar to how people in the accelerator are suggested the same areas for REIs.
