Most people fail because their pages get stuck with cheap traffic from random countries. If you want US traffic, you need to train the algorithm from day one. Here’s how:

1) Engagement – Only follow and interact with US accounts. Think CNN, NBA, New York Times, Drake, etc. Don’t follow random influencers worldwide or you’ll just attract the wrong audience.

2) Location + Timing – Always tag US locations on posts (pick smaller bars/cafes, not Times Square). Post at peak US hours like Friday night EST.

3) Content Signals – Add US elements to your content: flags, sports teams, slang (prom, lame, corny). Instagram picks that up and pushes it to Americans.

If your account is already filled with non-US followers, boost one good post ($2–5/day) and geo-target the US. That forces American engagement and slowly flips your audience.
