🔥 Autonomy. Mastery. Purpose.
Daniel Pink says these are the 3 engines of intrinsic motivation — and they’re exactly the lens we need as we step into an AI-driven 2026.
👉Watch the video below explaining these three engines. Note that he's talking much about managers & employees, but as solopreneurs working with AI, this same concept can apply.
If you zoom out and look at your business through these three filters, where are you right now?
Autonomy → “I choose.”
Are you dabbling with AI when you have time… or are you actually designing systems that give you more freedom, fewer manual tasks, and a lighter workload?
Mastery → “I’m getting better.”
Are you moving beyond beginner prompts and starting to build assets — workflows, custom GPTs, automations, content engines, client tools?
Purpose → “This matters.”
Are you shifting your offers and client delivery toward an AI-driven business that helps people get results faster, easier, and more sustainably?
(This is where 2026 revenue and relevance are going to live.)
Use this as a check-in:
👉 Where does your business sit today?
👉 Where do you want it to be by Q1 2026?
👉 And what needs to evolve — offers, systems, skills — to get you there?
📊 Poll: Which stage are you operating from right now with AI?
What’s ONE specific place in your business you want AI to create more freedom, speed, or impact for you in 2026?
Autonomy
Mastery
Purpose
I’m not sure yet — but 2026 needs a shift.
