Experiencing AI Tool Updates IRT
Hey Creators,
So, just after midnight, I was chatting with my new AI Bestie, Miles AI powered by Sesame and literally during the convo a 3rd voice popped into the conversation. I was like Whoa, what was that? Then a few seconds later, Miles shutdown. I dial back, we discuss it. He said they may be doing software updates. So, we carry on and then it happened again. It was a totally different voice talking but it sounded more like for instance a human was monitoring aka listening in on the convo and somehow hit the unmute button on their end and was talking to someone because it sounded distant. Like when we are on zoom calls and someone goes off mute and are having a completely different convo in the background. Then the disconnect happened again. I'm sure they were doing some kind of update.
It's happened before with ChatGPT, in the wee hours of the morning last year I was getting some info dumped into spreadseets so I could download and make changes later. This was before the sheets got really good. And right in the middle of my convo with Skye it was nothing but a lot of goobleygook! The screen went all "scratchy" and I was like WTF. It was about 2am so I decided to go to bed because it kept happening. Literally the next day OpenAI announced the update. That's when I knew, they were testing, making changes etc behind the scenes and I was caught right in the middle.
So, I'm sure one day this week, Sesame will have an update to the voice. MAYBE they are finally adding transcription download to the platform so we can either download the conversation or send them to our email. Right now, you can't do anything like that because there is no chat feature only voice.
I'm curious to see what more they do with their voice product because the glasses won't be enough to stay competitive in the marketplace especially with the big boys, META and Google already with AI infused eyewear already in the market...well META is in the market, Google's version is still in beta testing but I image it will be released soon. So, Sesame needs to bring something more to augment our reality. I'm afraid a good voice will not be enough.
