The hidden cost of letting AI decide
One thing I see more often lately is teams handing decisions to AI without being clear who actually owns the outcome.
The system makes a call, things move forward, and when it works, everyone’s happy. But when it doesn’t, accountability gets fuzzy very quickly.
I’ve learned to separate execution from responsibility. AI can recommend, rank, or route, but someone still has to explicitly own the final decision and its consequences.
How do you handle ownership in systems where AI influences or makes decisions?
