I’ve learned this the hard way.
There are a lot of bad apples in this business. Some people watch a few YouTube videos and suddenly think what we do is easy. They try to undervalue the work, push for unreasonable timelines, or want premium results at bargain prices.
In the beginning, I accepted everything just to grow. But now I’m slowly “firing” those clients. They drain more energy than they bring value.
The truth is, once you have enough volume, you can be selective — and you’ll attract better-quality clients too.
So if people aren’t treating you well, don’t hesitate to let them go. It’s completely okay.
