About LinkORB EngineeringLinkORB Engineering is expanding our automation capabilities by building a dedicated n8n Flowgrammer team. We're seeking a medior-level n8n Flowgrammer (workflow automation engineer) to join us on a contract basis.

This position is remote-first, offers flexible working hours.

The Role

Automate Business and Technical Workflows with n8nAs an n8n Flowgrammer, you will co-design, build, and optimize workflow automations for internal business operations and technical development at LinkORB. You'll work closely with our n8n Business Process Manager to capture requirements and ensure flows align with business needs.

Key Opportunities

▶️ Take ownership of workflow automation initiatives improving customer journey (support flows), internal processes (HR, compliance), and technical operations

▶️ Build custom nodes, integrate APIs, manage deployments, and troubleshoot automation flows within n8n

▶️ Help shape a new team culture focused on async, remote-friendly collaboration and experimentation

Responsibilities

Work with the n8n Business Process Manager to translate process requirements into automated flows

Co-Design, implement, and test workflow automations in n8n for both business and technical processes

Develop and integrate custom nodes as needed (requiring JSON and possibly JavaScript knowledge)Integrate and orchestrate APIs across third-party services and internal systems

Manage deployments of n8n and continuously improve automation reliability and performance

Troubleshoot issues, refine flows, and document solutionsRequirements

Demonstrable experience building workflow automations and “vibecoding” in n8nProficiency working with JSON, and an understanding of JavaScript for custom nodes

Experience integrating APIs (REST, webhooks, etc.)Ability to manage, test, and deploy n8n workflows in cloud or on-premises environments

Good troubleshooting skills across both business process logic and technical automation issues

Comfortable working independently and asynchronously, but able to align with team requirements

Nice to have

Experience optimizing internal operational workflows (HR, compliance, or customer support)

Background in supporting technical/development activities through automation

Experience writing custom extensions or integrating additional services with n8nFamiliarity with Docker and basic cloud deployment concepts
