Today, I want to highlight an incredible contribution from our community member in Discord, Nick Baker. He created a VS Code Extension that registers Agent Zero as a 'Language Model Provider'. It means he can open a native VS Code Chat and select 'Agent Zero' from the dropdown, just like you would select GPT or Claude and without the hassle of setting up the A2A protocol. This is a perfect example of extending the ecosystem.

I set up agent zero on a pi5 to test how well it works vs kvm cloud both use grok via lite llm proxy. I’ve gotta say I’m well impressed it’s smooth as hell. Today I’m going to try adapt and add to the set up, Awsome Claude Code- skills repo, Get Shit Done- planning and structure and Ralph Wiggins to loop until project completion. So far I’ve had good results with Claude code on this setup so thinking the Agent Zero experience is going to be much better. Been building a Tax assistant over the last few weeks, the new digital quarter tax is a bit of a issue with us self employed, I’ve set up my own system to fix and automate it, uses WhatsApp or Nextcloud talk to advise and upload receipts/ invoices, it’s currently building its own tax brain this week, getting smarter by the day.
