My mentor has an expression he patented, "Documentation Beats Conversation".
Well today I told someone my saying is "Consistency Beats Perfection"
Perfection is intimidating.
Consistency is attainable.
Perfection waits for the perfect time…
Consistency starts with what you have.
Perfection gets stuck in overthinking.
Consistency moves forward — even when it’s messy.
The truth is, most people don’t fail because they aren’t talented.
They fail because they stop.
Small actions repeated daily create momentum.
Momentum creates confidence.
Confidence creates results.
A person who shows up imperfectly every day will always outperform the person waiting to get it “just right.”
Consistency builds trust — with yourself and with others.
It proves commitment.
It creates habits.
It compounds over time in ways perfection never can.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to keep showing up.
Perfection is an event.
Consistency is a lifestyle.
And lifestyles win.
