Thursday ~ COURAGE, MOTION & TRUSTING THE SEASON
After chaos… comes quiet.
After stillness… comes movement again.
Today feels different.
The snow has finally stopped. Outside it’s gray, silent, almost eerie — the kind of quiet that settles in after a major storm has passed. Even the birds seem to be resting. Everything feels paused.
There’s something both peaceful and heavy about it.
I know I need to get out today and run errands — necessities don’t wait — but I have to admit I’m not looking forward to bundling up and heading back into the cold.
Still… life moves forward.
And as I sit here, I keep reminding myself:
Spring is only three weeks away.
All of this snow that feels overwhelming right now will eventually melt, wash away, and become part of a new season.
That’s how life works too.
What feels heavy today often becomes tomorrow’s memory.
Sometimes courage isn’t doing something dramatic — it’s simply putting on your coat, stepping outside, and continuing forward.
🌿 REFLECTION
What small step forward might you be resisting today?
Movement often restores energy.
Action often reduces worry.
Even when motivation is low, progress still begins with one decision.
🙏 PRAYER
Father God,
Thank You for bringing us through storms and into moments of stillness.
Thank You for the quiet reminders that seasons always change.
Give us courage today for the tasks we may be avoiding — the errands, responsibilities, and steps that feel heavy.
Help us move forward with trust instead of resistance.
Strengthen our bodies, calm our minds, and guide our decisions.
Remind us that winter does not last forever, and that new beginnings are already being prepared beneath the surface.
May we carry hope in our hearts today, knowing brighter days are ahead.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen. 🙏
Until tomorrow, may you feel useful, connected, and hopeful—and remember, you are never alone.
With love,
Grandma Grady 💛
