MONDAY ~ LISTENING & RENEWAL
Morning complete. Spirit settled. Snow loosening its grip. Light returning.
I’m back at my desk after finishing my morning rich-ual—talking with God, then listening.
Not rushing.
Not asking.
Just being present.
Outside, the snow is beginning to melt, even though the air is still sharp and cold. The sun is bright this morning, unapologetic in its warmth, doing its quiet work one ray at a time.
The birds know it. Cardinals flash red against the white. Blue jays announce themselves boldly. Red Robins hop closer than before. And everywhere—baby sparrows, busy and curious, feeding without fear.
As The 6 Phase Guided Meditation plays, I notice how different listening feels from striving.
Nothing needs to be solved. Nothing needs to be proven.
Alignment happens when we stop filling the space and allow truth to meet us there.
God often speaks after we finish talking. And clarity often arrives after we finish pushing.
This morning feels like a gentle reset—a reminder that renewal doesn’t always come through change, but through attention.
TODAY'S REFLECTION
When you slow down enough to listen, you may discover that God has been speaking all along.
PRAYER
God,
Thank You for the gift of stillness and the discipline of listening. Help us begin this week aligned rather than hurried, open rather than guarded.Teach us to trust the quiet work You are doing beneath the surface, just as the snow softens and gives way to new life. May our thoughts be clear, our spirits steady, and our hearts receptive to Your guidance today.
Amen. 🙏
Until tomorrow, may you listen deeply, move gently, and remember—you are never alone.
With love,
Grandma Grady 💛
