THURSDAY ~ PRESENCE & PURPOSE
Inside. Steady. Expectant.Snow still resting. Heart awake.
I’m sitting at my desk this morning, wrapped in quiet, the world outside still softened by snow. The light filters in gently, not demanding attention—just offering itself.
My Bible is open. My notebook is next to me. My coffee has gone cold more than once.
Today holds something meaningful. Later this afternoon, I’ll be going live on Zoom with my mentor—an opportunity born not out of striving, but out of relationship, trust, and time.
I’ve learned that purpose doesn’t usually rush us. It unfolds when we’re ready to receive it.
As I sit here, I’m reminded that being present is often the greatest preparation. Not rehearsing every word. Not anticipating every outcome. Just being fully here—grounded in who I am and grateful for how far I’ve come.
God doesn’t ask us to manufacture significance. He asks us to show up honestly and let Him do the arranging.
TODAY'S REFLECTION
Purpose becomes clearer when we stop trying to control the moment and choose to be fully present.
PRAYER
God,
Thank You for the quiet moments that steady us before meaningful conversations. Help us remain present, not pressured.Grounded, not rushed.May our words be guided, our hearts be open,and our trust rest in You rather than outcomes. Today, we choose presence over performance and peace over striving.
