TUESDAY ~ FAITHFUL IN SMALL ACTS
Cold. Bright. Snow underfoot. Birdseed in hand. Love in motion.
This morning I bundled up and stepped outside into the fresh snow, walking carefully toward the koi pond to refill the two birdfeeders. Everything is still covered in white, the kind of quiet that makes you instinctively lower your voice.
The path is slower today. Each step intentional. The ground reminding me to pay attention.
The birds were already waiting—watching from the trees, trusting I would come.
They didn’t rush me.
They didn’t panic.
They simply stayed close.
As I poured the seed, I thought about how often the smallest acts are the most faithful ones. No audience. No announcement. Just showing up again to tend what’s been entrusted to us.
God meets us in these moments. Not always in the big gestures, but in the steady ones.
The quiet obedience. The care we give when no one is watching.
TODAY'S REFLECTION
Faith is often practiced in small, ordinary acts of care. What you tend today matters more than you realize.
PRAYER
God,
Thank You for the simple opportunities to serve, for the reminders that love is lived out in small, faithful steps.Help us move with care, pay attention to what You’ve placed in our hands, and trust that even the quiet acts are seen by You.Teach us to walk gently, give generously, and remain present—even in the cold seasons. Amen. 🙏
Until tomorrow, may you walk slowly, love faithfully, and remember—you are never alone.
With love,
Grandma Grady
