Imagine being brand new to an institution. You don't know how this new system works, and you don't speak the language. What do you do, and how do you do it? This course is designed to give you the tools to equip that newcomer. There will be additional things that your student will need, and we will outline exactly what that is.

Getting English learners to read is difficult. If it weren't, we wouldn't see stagnancy, right? So, how do you get them to develop a readihgnhabit, or at least the ability to read for 20 minutes without stopping? This course integrates several resources to help teachers connect their students to the richness of what is gained from regular reading. Starting with reading conferences, we move to other resources that will aid in locking students in continual language growth through reading.

It could be difficult to set up a reading system. But with AIR Langauge, building language and reading skills is simple. This course gives a little extra help in making sure every student is reading at their level.
