I would like some advice on my English language class. I am having a tough time. It seems like everyday, I am getting new students into my classes, and don't know how to help them all. I have beginner beginner students, and intermediate students. There is no way everyone is getting what they need. What do I do?

Hello! I am having a difficult time trying to support my new students in class. 6 new students just enrolled this week (or are about to) and they have no English. I already have 12 in the class, and they have all been with me for at least 3 months. Any ideas?

I am not a teacher nor do i have a background in education. Yet, after joining AIR as our CTO i have discovered through countless stories and testimonials that there is a huge problem in our American education system. Over 5 million students in the U.S. are learning English, yet English proficiency among these learners has been declining over the past four years. Research shows that language acquisition requires consistent exposure to reading and listening just beyond a learner's current level—a challenge for many students. I really think that students need engaging, level-appropriate reading choices. Choices that are personalized and accessible to all MLL's. What do you think?
