How I Hit $2,144 in the Make Money Challenge
I wrapped up the challenge with $2,144 in sales, hitting my goal even with a packed schedule. Here’s exactly how I did it step by step.
1. The Offer: Selling My Microgreens Business Coaching
I was selling my Microgreens Business Coaching community, pushing the Annual Membership as the best deal.
  • $49/month or $499/year (I focused on annual).
  • I also offered a discounted price of $399 in certain cases.
  • One person started as a monthly member and later upgraded to annual pushing me over the $2K goal.
2. Marketing & Outreach: Getting People Interested
I didn’t rely on just one method I used multiple touchpoints to drive people into my world:
✔ Free Skool Community – Getting people into my free group was a major focus.
✔ Free One-on-One Calls – Once inside, I encouraged them to book a free strategy call.
✔ YouTube Videos – Each video had a CTA to join the paid group or book a call.
✔ Workshops – I made a direct discounted offer at the end of my workshop.
✔ Email & DMs – I engaged heavily in my free group, following up via DMs and email.
✔ Paid Ads (Minimal Test) – I ran one $50 ad to a workshop it worked and I plan to do more in February.
3. Sales Process: What Actually Converted People?
While I made an offer at the workshop, most of my sales came from a different approach:
💡 The Winning Formula: Free Group → Free One-on-One Call → Timed Offer
1️⃣ Bring people into the free group.
2️⃣ Get them to book a free one-on-one call.
3️⃣ On the call, I framed it as:
Let’s solve whatever issue you’re having. I’ll also teach you how to do a sales pitch so you can land your own customers.
  • 4️⃣ Once they saw the value, I offered them the $399 deal but only if they joined within 10 minutes.
  • 5️⃣ Almost everyone joined immediately only one person didn’t (but might later).
  • 6️⃣ I also tested one 7-day trial, and she converted to an annual membership.
4. Objections & How I Handled Them
The biggest question wasn’t price, it was “What do I actually get?”
🚀 Once I explained the value, the objections disappeared and they signed up.
5. Biggest Lessons from This Challenge
📌 Make Videos with a CTA – People need to know what you offer.
📌 Workshops Work – They build trust and let people see you in action.
📌 Make the Offer CLEAR – If people don’t know you want them to pay, they won’t.
6. What’s Next?
  • Running more ads in February to scale.
  • Continuing one-on-one calls as my highest-converting strategy.
  • Doubling down on content with clear CTAs.
