My body is still sore from all the walking while touring our guests over the weekend. 😆 Even though I slept enough last night, I still feel tired today.
So, I decided to honor what my mind and body are asking for — more rest. 💤
I took a nap mid-morning 😴 because, honestly, trying to get something done while half-asleep was taking 10x longer than it should’ve. And how the Boo character from Monsters, Inc. looks in this GIF is how I looked this morning, staring at my computer. 🤣
👉 Resting was being productive for me today.
And resting is a win for me today!
I might still need more rest later… so I’m listening to my Inner Self instead of pushing through. I’m sharing this as a gentle reminder:
💞 Being productive doesn’t always mean being busy or checking off tasks — unless “rest” is one of the things on your list (which, honestly, it should be 💛).
If you’ve just come back from a busy weekend, trip, or time off — permit yourself to recover.
That’s not laziness. That’s wisdom. 🌸
