My ADHD in a Nutshell
Good morning, you absolute legends.
Quick one. If you’ve ever sat there at 2am wondering why your brain works like this, why nobody told you sooner, or why one offhand comment from someone in 2009 still lives rent free in your head… I wrote these books for you.
Adult ADHD: Grief to Growth is me before diagnosis all the way through to, processing the rage and relief of finding out at 48 that there was a reason for all of it. Every chapter is the conversation I wish someone had with me twenty years
RSD & Me: The Emotional Landscape of RSD is the messier one. The one about why criticism feels like a physical wound, why you’ve apologised for things that weren’t your fault, why rejection sticks like Velcro. I didn’t hold back writing it, and it shows.
Neither of these are theory books. They’re “this happened to me, here’s what it actually felt like, and here’s what I wish I’d known” books.
Links below. Pay-what-you-can isn’t on the table for these ones, but they’re cheap and they might just save you a few years of confusion that I didn’t get to skip.
Go on. Treat your brain to some understanding for once.
Also available is the less well written Executive Function Paradox
