ADHD Kids Rock is a supportive learning community for kids, parents, teachers, coaches and other adults who want to better understand life with ADHD. Our message is simple: you are not alone, and you are not broken. ADHD brains may work differently, but different does not mean bad. This community creates a safe, encouraging place to share experiences, learn practical strategies and recognize the strengths that can come with ADHD. Inside the community, members can: - Learn from the real experiences of kids and adults with ADHD - Discover practical strategies for home, school and everyday life - Help parents and teachers better understand what children with ADHD need - Share stories, questions, challenges and successes - Connect with others who understand the ADHD experience - Build confidence, self-awareness and stronger relationships ADHD Kids Rock was founded by Jeff Rasmussen, who was diagnosed with ADHD in Grade 7 and wanted to change the world for younger kids who were being misunderstood or punished for the way their brains worked. Together, we can help kids feel understood, help adults respond with greater kindness and create environments where people with ADHD can succeed. Everyone is normal. Being abnormal is an illusion. ADHD Kids Rock provides education, community and peer support. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please introduce yourself, share what you hope to take away from being part of this group. Remember to always protect your kids privacy, use "my kid", vs. using identifying actual names and/or locations. Glad you are here!
