Cannes so far …
Hey everyone,
Just a quick update on my current experience in Cannes:
The first few days were really hectic, especially when you’re running from one meeting to the next.
But so far, the most positive outcome has been the networking — especially through events like yesterday’s 10-year WeAudition anniversary, as well as at the Marché inside the Palais building, both through pitching sessions & simply approaching people at the various country pavilions & booths. It’s been a great experience — probably the healthiest, most relaxed, & most efficient way to network, even if it’s not always easy.
And yes, partying is part of it too — because sometimes, it’s through the parties that the most beautiful & unforgettable connections are made, like the one from last night in this picture.
Summary:
So far, I’ve had a meeting with a casting director, a meeting with a production company working for a local TV broadcast, & also with a publicist who’s helping me and my team promote our story even more to the world.
