What Would You Say to Your Future Self?
Have you ever written a letter to your future self? During the Showing-Up Strategy Sprint, you will. And there is science behind this simple exercise. In a 2018 study published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, participants wrote letters to their future selves. Those encouraged to connect with their more distant future selves exercised more in the days that followed. Why? Because connecting with your future self can help you think differently about the choices you make today. At the beginning of the sprint, you’ll write your letter and put it away. Five weeks later, you’ll open it and ask: What did I accomplish? How did I change? Did I keep the promise I made to myself? I can’t wait for you to meet the person who opens that letter.

Your Big Thing Will be Attacked
If you're not facing resistance, your goal isn't big enough I know that sounds harsh. But here's what I've learned : Everything meaningful gets attacked. Your thoughts attack it. Your circumstances attack it. Even well-meaning people attack it. Not because it's wrong, but because it requires change. And change is always resisted. In my book "Act on the Big Thing," I break down the 5 Invisible Walls between you and your biggest goals: 🧠 The Mindset Wall 📱 The Distraction Wall 👥 The People Wall 🌍 The Circumstances Wall 🛠️ The Skills Wall These aren't barriers to avoid. They're tests designed to forge you into the person capable of achieving your Big Thing. The wall you're facing right now? It's not there to stop you. It's there to prepare you. Which wall are you up against? By the way , "Act on the Big Thing" book is available now on Amazon. If you're ready to identify and overcome the walls holding you back, get your copy here:_ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GKY5CK6H?lv=shuf&bestFormat=true&social_share=cm

Your Big Thing Will be Attacked
Welcome to Act on the Big Thing Community
Hello, everyone I’m so excited you’re here. This community is for ambitious individuals and business leaders who want to focus on what matters most—and act on it with courage and clarity. In my book Act on the Big Thing, I talk about a truth many of us feel deep inside: unhappiness doesn’t come from failing; it comes from ignoring that inner voice that says you’re meant for more. Your Big Thing is that one goal that, if you commit to it, will create the most significant positive shift in your life or work. It’s not about doing everything. It’s about giving your best energy to the thing that matters most, one step at a time. And here’s the beautiful part: you don’t have to walk this path alone. In this community, we’re here to: - Support each other when things get tough. - Share the wins, no matter how small. - Hold each other accountable, so progress is real. - Grow together as we act boldly on what matters. To get us started, let’s do two things: 1. Introduce yourself—tell us who you are and what you do. 2. Share your Big Thing—the most important goal you want to accomplish right now.

You are not lazy, you are overwhelmed
Laziness is a myth. Overwhelm is the real enemy. Do you know why you feel tired, even on days when you don’t get much done? It’s not laziness. It’s because your energy is spread in too many directions. Every unfinished task drains you. Every competing priority scatters your focus. Every “yes” to the small things becomes a “no” to what really matters. And often, we escape into the trivial: ✔️ Working on less important tasks. ✔️ Tackling other priorities that feel “safe.” ✔️ Staying busy—while quietly avoiding the Big Thing And then the guilt sets in. You end the day frustrated, wondering why you can’t “get it together.” But here’s the truth— That doesn’t mean you’re lazy. It means you’re overwhelmed. Yes, some roles do require paying attention to many things. Leaders, entrepreneurs, executives—you can’t escape complexity. But even in complex roles, clarity is everything. You can juggle many responsibilities… as long as one Big Thing sets the direction. It becomes the anchor. The filter. The guide for where your energy goes first. That’s how you move from overwhelm to momentum. When you channel your effort into the Big Thing: ➡️ Your energy returns. ➡️ Progress feels lighter. ➡️ Work becomes meaningful again. Here’s what I’ve learned: Big changes don’t happen when we chase everything. They happen when we choose one thing, go deep, and don’t stop until you achieve it. So let me ask you— 👉 What is the most important goal for you right now? 👉 What’s your Big Thing? All of our Big Things look different. But the common denominator is this: It matters to you more than anything else. Stop escaping into the small. Start acting on the Big Thing. The cure for overwhelm isn’t doing more. It’s focusing on what matters most. ___________
