Laziness is a myth.
Overwhelm is the real enemy.
Do you know why you feel tired, even on days when you don’t get much done?
It’s not laziness.
It’s because your energy is spread in too many directions.
Every unfinished task drains you.
Every competing priority scatters your focus.
Every “yes” to the small things becomes a “no” to what really matters.
And often, we escape into the trivial:
✔️ Working on less important tasks.
✔️ Tackling other priorities that feel “safe.”
✔️ Staying busy—while quietly avoiding the Big Thing
And then the guilt sets in.
You end the day frustrated, wondering why you can’t “get it together.”
But here’s the truth—
That doesn’t mean you’re lazy.
It means you’re overwhelmed.
Yes, some roles do require paying attention to many things.
Leaders, entrepreneurs, executives—you can’t escape complexity.
But even in complex roles, clarity is everything.
You can juggle many responsibilities… as long as one Big Thing sets the direction.
It becomes the anchor.
The filter.
The guide for where your energy goes first.
That’s how you move from overwhelm to momentum.
When you channel your effort into the Big Thing:
➡️ Your energy returns.
➡️ Progress feels lighter.
➡️ Work becomes meaningful again.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Big changes don’t happen when we chase everything.
They happen when we choose one thing, go deep, and don’t stop until you achieve it.
So let me ask you—
👉 What is the most important goal for you right now?
👉 What’s your Big Thing?
All of our Big Things look different.
But the common denominator is this:
It matters to you more than anything else.
Stop escaping into the small.
Start acting on the Big Thing.
The cure for overwhelm isn’t doing more. It’s focusing on what matters most.
