As a 19-year-old introverted college student, learning sales has been a unique challenge. Initially, the idea of approaching strangers and pitching ideas was daunting. I struggled with confidence and found it hard to initiate conversations. However, as I practiced and learned more about sales techniques, I began to understand the importance of building relationships and listening to customers. Role-playing exercises in class and small group discussions helped me improve my communication skills. Over time, I started feeling more comfortable and realized that sales is not just about selling but about understanding and meeting people's needs.
