I’ve been grinding for months to sign my first client.
Had multiple calls with an established ed-tech firm—he was beyond convinced in meetings. But outside them? Super unprofessional, late replies, days of follow-ups just to get anything reviewed. I persevered out of desperation.
Yesterday, we had the onboarding call. Sent him the Service Level agreement (SLA), and now he’s demanding an LLC or proof of agency—for a mere $600 + $50/month retainer. Feels completely unreasonable. An SLA should be enough, right?
Am I clueless, or do y’all face the same client issues? And should I even onboard him after all these red f
lags?
