Preparing the Bride 👰🏼‍♀️
Every bride prepares—not based on preference, trend, or opinion—but with intention. No matter the style of the wedding, preparation is never optional. And Scripture reminds us that we, as the Church, are called the Bride of Christ.
Preparation isn’t about appearances. It’s about alignment. It’s not about what feels important to us—it’s about what matters to God.
Jesus often spoke about being ready, not rushed. Faithful, not frantic. Prepared, not passive (Matthew 25:1–13). And readiness is always a choice.
This applies far beyond spiritual language. The way we prepare our hearts shapes how we live, how we love, and how we build relationships. When preparation is neglected, even good intentions begin to drift.
Take a moment today to sit with this question:
Am I giving my attention to what matters most to God—or just what feels urgent to me?
God is faithful to meet us when our hearts are aligned with His.
