One Thing

Will you choose to pursue the presence of God?

Scripture says, “One thing I ask from the LORD… this only do I seek” (Psalm 27:4). That is not a casual statement. It is a focused and intentional pursuit.

The presence of God is not just a feeling. It is the place where everything changes. The reality is that we are all pursuing something. The question is what are we pursuing?

Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God” (Matthew 6:33). He did not say to seek it when it is convenient or when everything else is taken care of. He said to seek it first. When you truly encounter the presence of God, nothing else satisfies in the same way.

Today, take a moment and consider this:

What am I truly pursuing with my time, my focus, and my energy?
