The heart is a hidden garden, but the fruit growing from it is visible for all to see. The Bible teaches that a tree cannot hide what kind of tree it is. Good roots produce good fruit. Corrupt roots produce corrupt fruit. What lives within the Mind, Body, Soul, and Spirit eventually manifests outwardly. Jesus said: "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil." (Luke 6:45) If a person's inner nature is rooted in pride, envy, hatred, destruction, or rebellion, their words will carry those same seeds. Their actions will mirror what dwells within. The enemy often wears people as costumes, influencing those who willingly submit to darkness, division, deception, and destruction. Jesus described the adversary this way: "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy." (John 10:10) When a person's heart agrees with the works of darkness, their fruit reflects the nature of the one they are following. But when a person walks with God, the fruit changes. God created human beings with emotions.
