Does He Love Me? (you know the song)
Cher might tell you that it's in his kiss, but I'm here to tell you I think that's a load of crap, personally – or at least not the whole story.
I heard this song yesterday, and in true driving-down-the-back-country-road fashion, I belted out the chorus right along with Cher, but it got me thinking. I've never REALLY believed this.
Being involved in a very long-term abusive relationship, I can tell you that I used that song to answer that question a few times and came up with, "Yes".
But here's the thing.
I don't think that's the right question.
