Tonal variegated
I started late as I wanted to get an idea of what other colourways people were using. All my wool for this project is from skeinz and some is stuff I had for quite a while just waiting for the perfect project. I tend to buy wool on special in colours I love and wait for the wool to talk to me about what it wants to become. I wanted there to be enough contrast but at the same time for there to be limited tones and hues. I also love variegated wool (I also dye wool myself) and wanted to use up wool I had that wasn't my hand dyed stuff. The middle yarn is actually plyed with different strands of variegated wool. I'm very impressed with all the lovely colours people have chosen and it is the most delightfully beautiful pattern.

Help - underarm
Hi! Can someone please show me a photo of how their underarm area looks like on the sweater? (Faux seam is something new for me) I'm a bit confused, even though i read the pattern many times and watched the tutorial too. Thank you!

@Ginette Stone Thank you Ginette! Yes that really helps me! I wasn't sure how the pattern should look like there and now I think I see it as well : from the purl stitch you have to continue with the pattern from the indicated number in your size.
Clue2 is done
I'm completely beginner at colorwork knitting and struggle sometimes with tension and how to hold yarn, especially when need to catch floats, but i'm proud of my progress so far, i'm learning a lot and feel safe in this community as everyone is so kind and helpful. I'm also not super happy about my color choices (B and C are too similar in contrast) but i'm curious how the final work will be like and also learning through this process too.

Csodaszépek! Congratulations Judit!
Got too many colour combination ideas to count?
If you’ve been spending time on here lately, you’ve probably seen some of the stunning colour combos for the Rujuu Sweater. If you’re feeling inspired and want to play with your favourite pairings without the mystery, I have just released a new pattern! Meet the Elza Sweater. It’s my latest top-down raglan, inspired by another traditional Latvian mitten motif. The pattern is super intuitive with mostly short floats, making it a very meditative knit. You can get the pattern now on Ravelry and Etsy. Use the code ELZA20 to get 20% off through February 8th. (Heads up, newsletter subscribers: check your inbox for an even better exclusive code!) If you run into any issues with the code, please reach out before you finish checking out, as I can't apply discounts once the transaction is complete. Happy knitting!

Do you think I could try to knit this pattern with fingering weight yarn too? (400m/100g)
