Not finished yet?
As an encouragement to anyone else also not finished-I’m not done either! I almost finished one sleeve only to realize that bc I have shorter arms I need to be doing the decreases much closer together so I don’t end up with super baggy sleeves by the end. I’m still working myself up to tearing that sleeve out and starting it over. Once I get that figured it should go fast though I hope!! Hang in there everyone!

@Geralde Vincent-Bancroft I just started this project and it’s beautiful so far! I used the same yarns as zanete. The fibre co road to china light was just discontinued though so options are limited but if you can find it, it’s an amazingly soft yarn. I recommend looking on the app called “shop”.
Sleeves!!
Am I the only one that is absolutely hating doing the color work on the sleeves! I’ve tried magic loop, 9 inch circular, and dpn and they are all difficult for me and has made finishing my sweater feel like a real chore 😩

@Rose Prendeville glad I’m not the only one! @Pamela Barber I too have enjoyed this experience with everyone. It was my first KAL and also the first time to get to share with a knitting community (I really loved that part) See both of you lovely ladies on the other side of the sleeves lol can’t wait for the zoom fashion show
Finished knitting!
Finished knitting and weaving on ends the end of this week. Including frogging out a section of color work on first sleeve where a big oops put pattern completely off (very noticeable to me and I’m sure other knitters only) so it had to be done so I would fully enjoy it! This meant grafting the end sections back in place as I didn’t want to have to completely tear out sleeve to repair such a small area… a first at doing such a thing… and not one I would like to ever repeat! But am so pleased with the final result! It is a bit big still, but beautiful and comfy and filled with my love of knitting and many new experiences! This has been so enjoyable! I’m so looking forward to the next KAL and many more Zanete sweaters! Have a couple WIP’s I promised myself to complete before starting a new pattern, now just have to choose from the many I’ve fallen in love with 😍
