DJI OSMO POCKET 3 SETTINGS
Hey gs, was trying to get my settings right on the pocket 3, out of box it looks terrible, has anyone been able to find what looks best to get that luxury look / asthetic? ill add some images of what im going for (ofc the images are post colour grade) i like the dark luxury vibe, perfect wb (which i struggle to set on the pocket 3), perfect skin tones, deep blacks, good contrast right now my settings are 4k30 EV -0.3 fr 1/60 iso 50-400 wb custom set by eye d log m continuous focus sharpness -2 NR -1

Honestly brother, your settings are already solid. The biggest thing I'd say is don't chase the "luxury look" through camera settings. Most of that comes from lighting, composition and the grade. I'd lock your white balance instead of setting it by eye every shot, keep shooting in D-Log M and expose consistently. The dark luxury aesthetic is made in post. Deep blacks, good contrast and skin tones come from the grade, not the Pocket 3 itself. You've got a good setup already, now focus on getting clean footage and nailing the lighting

Color grade iPhone footage
Any tips on how to color grade iPhone footage on DaVinci Resolve to get a cinematic look?

Keep it simple brother. Most people overcomplicate color grading. Get your exposure right, add a bit of contrast, slightly reduce saturation and focus on good lighting when filming. And honestly, with an iPhone I'd spend more time focusing on angles, composition and storytelling than grading. Once you move to a proper camera, that's when color grading becomes next level and can make a huge difference
