Make sure the light is hitting horizontally g. In the video you can tell that the light is above and it doesn't look good

Class, trying to make the footage look a bit more clean, and when you record specially outside, make sure you record either early in the morning or before sunset. You want the light to be horizontally not vertical so like that it creates that aesthetic look

when is the right time to use it, ive been using it on all my clips but i think its just too much, when watching zedans vids they dont always have it

Yes g, you don't have to use it every time. It depends on the frame and what what you trying to bring. If you are looking to create that old aesthetic look, I think grain is good option to add. But not always
