Overshared in my other comment I guess. Zeb. 45. Looking to stay physically able to continue with what I’m doing now. Some jits, some striking, some weights. Training 5-6 days a week and want to develop balance, and the ability to recognize what I need to lean into more, as that can change.

@Dan Slobodin haha well despite what happened this morning I just meant balancing all the work. That being said working on not falling over wouldn’t hurt.
Your Program??
Since a big part of this community is to focus on Strenth and Conditioning, I thought I'd see what you're all working on! For me personally my main focus is Strength based power lifting with some O-lifts and Ballistic training to maintain (at least) some explosive/speed strength. What are you working on, and what kind of program do you follow?

I’m 45 and despite my body screaming for mobility training, here I am finally back at jiu jitsu after way too long a break, and Muay Thai for the first time. Never too late to start. I just want movements and exercises that are gonna keep me able to continue with these martial arts. Been on and off with the 6 main lifts the last few years. I suppose variations on those (ie kettle bell workouts) would be good for me. My lower back gives me a lot of grief and my core is weak. Over.
