Taurean, you never miss a Tuesday, and tonight showed why. Twenty-eight of us now. The room grows one invite at a time. What happened: You told me what you came for. Taurean is a songwriter and he has been getting better every single week in this room, out loud, for as long as I have been teaching here. Janet DJs and wants to learn production. Zarena kept us honest. I wrote all of it down. That is October. I played you a record before the chords and the vocal production went on it, because music is a living thing and you should see it alive. I told you what Damon Thomas said about it: strip the chords, let the vocals and the drums breathe. That is a legend giving notes to a producer with twenty years in, and I took every one.
