This was the result of a cold walk-in to the business to introduce myself to the business owner. He wanted to schedule a second meeting with his partner and I met with both of them yesterday. His partner sounded skeptical and I honestly didn't think they would go for it but in the end they said they realize they need to advertise and would do it for 3 months and decide from there whether to continue. They have another company running TikTok and Facebook ads for them and said they are getting leads from those campaigns. They have been in business for 33 years and said they get most of their business from referrals from other customers. They were both very kind men.
Funny Story
This past Thursday I attended a meetup group of the Social Collective Facebook group for Alexandria. I didn't stay long because I had a luncheon to go to right after but I did talk with two people there, one of whom was the newly hired marketing coordinator for a moving company. I told her about my door prize - one free ad on my community mailer .. and told her I hoped she won because I would love to get a moving company on the card. Yesterday she emailed me to let me know she DID win it. What were the chances?? So now I have a new advertiser for the next card already.
