Hi all, I have been hearing chatter and experienced myself that there has been an issue with getting our music posted to YouTube Music in the past few months. I was wondering if anybody has found any workarounds/things to ask support/best practices/even trying a different distributor to ensure that our music goes live in a reasonable time frame. My first, third, and fourth albums have not gone live, but my second album has (and 30k views for my very first live album on YouTube!). Has anyone found a solution to the YouTube album submission issue with DistroKid? I’ve noticed that some channels are still publishing albums regularly, through DistroKid, so they may be doing something differently. Has anyone discovered a workaround or a specific submission method that works?

The issue is still ongoing, and it’s becoming very frustrating. As you all know, YouTube Music is our main source of income, and since we can’t publish new releases, views and revenue are dropping. I’ve contacted DistroKid support through several accounts. They resubmitted some albums twice, but nothing has changed. At this point, I don’t know whether the problem is with YouTube, DistroKid, or both. What do you guys think? And has anyone find a solution to this issue?

Hello Guerrillas. As you already know, Youtube releases are taking a very long time to appear (or sometimes not appearing at all). Even after resubmission, many days have passed and I still can’t see the albums... This makes me wonder, is Youtube adding more restrictions on AI music, or declining it altogether? What do you think?

I’m honestly still in shock. I never imagined that one day I could earn an amount like this from AI-generated music. A huge thank you to Jesse Hull for his videos, his advice, and the community he has built. Thanks to everything I learned, I proved that this is truly possible with discipline, patience, and consistency. At the beginning, I was getting almost no results, and I thought about giving up several times. But I kept working through the doubts, and today, all that effort is finally paying off.
