Mary, Mary quite contrary how does your garden grow?
So how are our gardens doing? I am going to post some survival garden videos and start going over what my top survival crops are. I thought I should then ask what are your top 3 crops to grow to get you through winter? Mine are Squash, potatoes, and tomatoes as they make up a majority of what I preserve.

Life has been busy. I was able to get squash and zucchini in the ground. And funny enough I had 2 heads of cabbage that I was gifted but didn't get a chance to use and they are both growing cabbage for me!
Feeling off
So I just want to put out there to everyone that I've been feeling off the last few weeks. I think I've been fighting something but haven't actually gotten sick. I was wondering if anyone else is feel like this? I know it probably the winter blues but I've never felt it like this. What's everyone's go to to shake off the funk now winter and get back to it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in Texas and we had our first spring so I took advantage of it and have been hiking as much as I can. Yesterday a Northern wind blew in our cold front. So I will be waiting for our 2nd spring. It's set to arrive tomorrow. 😜
Your last meal
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be? For me it's a toss up between spaghetti and a really good pho

It would definitely be tacos de carnitas with salsa verde for me!

Because where I live right now is not my forever home, and I am just renting the spot right now, it makes it hard for me to get the motivation to do any of it. On top of that I'm in the middle of a shed to home conversion which will be moved to our forever spot. But I really want to get the knowledge and experience started so I can at least feel ahead of the game when I do get moved.
What's your favorite season?
I absolutely love fall, everything quiets down and I love the colors. The recipe I make at this time of year are my favorite. What's your favorite season and why?

Fall is a really close 2nd to spring for me. There's just something about the beautiful green leaves when they start to emerge on the sleepy trees. The smells are too tier! All the baby animals that start their new lives. I absolutely love spring.
