"What should I do to make money with AI/n8n/automation?"
I'll be diving a lot deeper into this soon as I release more of the courses from the paid group here (for free), but I want to answer a question that I get a lot, and it's honestly super important, so I understand why you ask it. The thing is, I don't know. I *can't* know what **you** should do. I can help you find it, but even for that I am going to need to know the answers to the same questions. What are you passionate about? What do you want to do? Possibly the best test: if I said I would take care of your living expenses, room and board, BUT you had to work, you had to do *something* productive, but it could be *anything* you wanted - art, making bikes, changing peoples oil, volunteering at a food bank - no matter what it is, no matter how much money it makes, you get none of it, I get all of it.. What would you be happy (or at least willing lol) to do "for free" if everything else were just taken care of already? If you answer those questions for me, then I can probably tell you what you should do to make money with AI, but you'll already have the answer yourself. The real question that you didn't know you had was, "How can I make money with AI/n8n/automation by getting to do what I love?" and to answer that, I will actually need to know what you love, so share it below, see if anyone else's matches yours!

First of all, I cannot thank you enough (and I'm sure I speak on behalf of many people here) of everything you are doing... content, lessons, online meetings, etc. to help the community and give us the directions and tools we need! The questions we are asked to answer (for you, but mostly for ourselves) are good ones, but can also be conflicting... For example, I personally love tennis, Aikido, yoga, diving, windsurfing, wakeboarding, skiing, snowboarding... just to name a few... If I had all my expenses covered, I would be doing all of these (depending on the season - but tennis would always be there ;-) ). But... - Would I be happy? Yes, absolutely! - Are they "productive"? Probably not. They are fun, but not "productive"... - Can they make me money? They could (and in turn be "productive") if I could teach any of these, but I'm not at that level in none of these... Which brings us to the "working" and "productive" part... If I wouldn't care about the money, then I'd offer my time and effort to: - Cleaning the sea and beaches from garbage, etc. (that would be "productive" and fun (diving), so it's a win-win situation. - Volunteering at an animal shelter and take care of stray dogs and cats and animals in general ("productive" by doing something for the helpless animals). - Volunteering at a people's shelter and take care of homeless, disabled and the elderly ("productive" by doing something for the people and helping those who are in need). So... now I'm more confused... :-) BUT, I'm sure for SOMETHING: - I won't work anymore for any company (or organization) for a salary, i.e., where I trade my time for money, and don't feel I contribute to anything I love. - The same kinda applies to being a consultant, freelancer, etc. I would work on projects related to the things I love (e.g. a tennis ATP tournament) and "avoid" projects for things I don't really care about (e.g. real estate - but at least I would make more money than being an employee).
Having an understanding of what you're asking AI to understand
I was reading the intro from @Yannis Diamantidis and I had some thoughts I wanted to share, but it's important for everyone here to know, so I turned it into a quick video for y'all 💪
Having an understanding of what you're asking AI to understand

Hi @David Ashby, Thanks for sharing your thoughts especially in such a cool way ;-) To answer your question and for all of those having read my profile... Having worked in corporate environments across three different countries, Greece (with the kind of unorganized structure and expectations from you to do everything), Germany (with an organized but strict structure, inflexible and slowly moving, leaving little room for improvement) and US (New York) with a mixture of both, I have concluded that it's not much about the environment per se and the overall mentality, but about the people themselves... The level of respect we all have for each other, the willingness to support each other and the understanding that working together helps us achieve our common goals. I worked in multicultural environments in New York and I had the best experience in my life... both on the professional and personal level. The same in Greece. The same also in Germany, for the most part... But right now, at the age of 57 and after almost 40 years of working experience, out of which 20 at the same company/organization (yes, I know... shoot me please!), I have to prove that I'm not a... pink elephant (over and over again). So, I'm done with this war and yes, it made me restless and "wanting to make a quantum leap forward." I feel kinda the same energy I had at the beginning of my IT career sitting by my Sun Ultra 5 workstation and learning Solaris... Now, after 27+ years, I hope I can sustain the same enthusiasm and be given the same opportunities I had back then...

As we just talked about on Discord, the generic idea is to log in once a week or so to several investment platforms (using my username, password and OTP), get the available account balance and send an email to me so I can take some action. A further improvement would be to get the interest paid every month and create a chart of ROI.
New Adventure...
First of all thank you for accepting me to the community! I am Yannis (from Greece), a Senior Systems (Linux) Engineer. Have worked in the US and Greece for several years and I'm currently working at a large European organization in Germany for the last 20 years! The corporate environment, with its bureaucracy, politics, etc. has taken a toll on me and I've realized that it's time for me to move on, learn something new and do something that will excite me and... awake me. Totally new in the world of AI, I'm still collecting information on how to start, what to study, which courses to attend, etc., so any directions, suggestions, advises, etc. are welcome and appreciated. I recently came across n8n and the related automation platforms. Looking forward to learn more and start building my own workflows...

It's about the journey, not the destination! You help people... Nobody will remember how many templates you published and if you were the top creator or so... But we WILL remember how you made us feel!

I'm glad I can contribute just a tiny bit in this awesome community and so happy to have met you guys, even virtually...
Hello from Madrid!
Hey, I'm Alex, French living in Madrid, I'm also a workflow creator, n8n ambassador and YouTuber. I have a very diverse background as I begin studying pharmacy + business school, which I really didn't like, then wanted to be an actress so I went to Drama school in Paris. I met tech 13 years ago, beginning with WordPress with no code and stretching myself to a full stack JavaScript bootcamp became a front-end developer, developer relations, speaker, And since about two years I'm into AI and automation Discovered n8n became an ambassador created YouTube channel in English and now a YouTube channel in French as I realized the French market is underserved and also a free community in French. Happy to help, to share, and also to be helped with advanced things, especially when things need to scale!

Well since... ChatGPT said it, then who am I to challenge it... ;-) Your YouTube channel looks great... looking forward to watch your videos, but I have to learn the ABC first, before understanding what you're actually doing... If you have any tips on how to start learning the basics, I would appreciate it. Small edit: The URL for your English YouTube channel should point to "https://www.youtube.com/@alexandraspalato".
