The Lord fights our battles - King Sennacherib terrorizes King Hezekiah
King Sennacherib, the King of Assyria, terrorized King Hezekiah, the King of Judah. The Lord intervened and fought King Hezekiah’s battle. King Hezekiah fought his battle by crying out to the Lord. Scriptural authority: The battle is set forth in great detail beginning in Isaiah chapter 36:1 through the end of Isaiah chapter 37. The same exact battle is also recounted, with slightly different emphasis, starting at 2 Kings 18:13 and continuing through the end of 2 Kings chapter 19.πŸ”₯ The scripture setting forth King Hezekiah’s very stressful ordeal is chocked full of rich revelation - the enemy’s clear intention was to immobilize King Hezekiah, and the people of Judah, with fear - please note in 2 Kings 19:36 (and in Isaiah 37:37) that King Sennacherib, the King of Assyria, was from Nineveh. I have heard commentators speak about Nineveh’s reputation for being brutal - I have also heard that groups like Isis have their roots in Assyria. In this regard, reflect back upon the manner in which Isis has a history of terrorizing the world during previous presidential administrations. They would film their terror and then send social media posts with videos of rows of blindfolded men kneeling in orange jumpsuits just prior to being beheaded before the rolling cameras. Are you able to recall a time in your life when the enemy of our souls sought to create terror in your life? The answer is likely yes - However, comfort and equipping, about our authority as sons and daughters of God, are found in His Word … see scripture citations in the comments below πŸ”₯

Oh my God yeah he not also hears the bad things, also your plans, decisions; what you said you going to do. Ufff this one hit me. Because I'm one that said out loud what I want to do, what I'm going to do out loud but even for those plans and wishes you have to put them in the Hands of God Proverbs 16:3 ESV [3] Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

Can you Imagine πŸ€”
Last night I preached on Abraham and the Promise. We have this picture of Abraham walking up the Mountain with Issac carry the wood he would later be sacrificed on. Its such a prophetic picture and encouragement for us today. Genesis 22:3-5Β "So Abraham rose up early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place that God had told him. 4Β Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from a distance. 5Β Abraham said to his young men, β€œStay here with the donkey. The boy and I will go over there and worship and then return to you.” First of all we see Abraham did not question God... God spoke what seemed like a contradiction... kill your only son.. the one I promised you would bring forward as many descendants as the sand of the sea. Second we see people can only go so far with you on your Journey of Faith. It got to a point where it was only Father and Son... Thats where we must understand... you cant take everyone with you where you are going. There are some assignments where its just you and Jesus. Abraham, a foreshadow of the Father and Issac, foreshadowing Jesus carrying His cross. We know that this was the same Mountain Range that would later be called Calvery. Can you imagine... As Abraham is walking up this mountain at 100 years old... He's still believing God's promises. He must be heartbroken, worried, afraid... but as he's walking in silence he's trusting God. He's litterally walking by faith. Believing God... EVEN WHEN IT LOOKS HOPELESS. Now imagine Issac's perspective. He's carrying this wood on his back and he's already asked his father where is the sacrifice. He's no gullible 8 year old... Scholars believe Issac was between 20 and 37 years old. Josephus estimated he was 25 at this time. He's walking up this mountain... not understanding what's going on and even as Abraham starts to strap him down and put him on the wood...

Romans 12:1 NKJV [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV [1] Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. [2] And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Put it into Practice
You know there are a lot of things that we know are good, but we never put them into practice. For me, i've recently been cutting down on my screen time. Im not scrolling on Instagram or Facebook and to be honest, it wasn't for the purpose that i'm writing to you about... but i discovered something. Im feeling REALLY GOOD. When i say really good, its like I got the best sleep of my life, im in such a great mood. I don't know its weird. I haven't been as consistent with not being on social media, but a couple weeks ago I woke up feeling amazing but I did not connect screen time to the improved mood. Well last night was a normal night. I went to bed etc... but this morning I feel like One Million bucks πŸ€” Then I Googled it: "do you feel better when you look at your cell phone screen less?" Answer: Cutting down on screen time can indeed make a world of difference. Staring at a cell phone less frequently is widely shown to reduce eye strain, improve sleep quality, and lower stress levels. Here are a few noticeable benefits of reducing screen time: - Better Sleep: The blue light emitted by screens suppresses melatonin. Putting your phone away an hour before bed helps your brain wind down naturally. - Reduced Anxiety: Constant notifications and social media feeds keep your brain in a state of high alert. Stepping away can significantly lower stress and FOMO (fear of missing out). - Improved Focus: Constant switching between apps trains your brain to have a shorter attention span. Less screen time helps restore your ability to concentrate on tasks for longer periods. My recommendation is to try it... It works!

My work flow isn't constantly. I've been reading the word, listening to sermons during the free time. I got to watch one of your series here at skool. I'm truly surprised at home that I haven't jumped into it. Be focusing in reading the Word. Even got Christian ( my son) reading the book of Ephesians together 1 chapter before he goes to school. I'm running away from them πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Ok so i just discovered something while Im working on my new book "Predestined? Free Will vs. God's Hand in Finding Your Spouse" In Genesis 1 and 2 the word for Man is the same word for Adam. Genesis 1:27 Modern English Version 27Β So God created man(Adam) in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Ok so in this verse God is saying God created Adam in his own image, BUT as he's saying this he then says He created them male and female... but he's talking of Adam 😳... ya'll ever seen an Angel or heard someone describe one... where they have the beauty of a woman but they're masculine? - Don't get thrown off here but trans people are confused and unknowingly doing the opposite of God while still trying to obtain the perfection of God. Remember in verses like Genesis 1:26 Modern English Version 26Β Then God said, β€œLet us make man (Adam) in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God is saying them but Adam is by himself or not even created yet... this is maybe why the translator said "man" instead of Adam. But this is the crazy part!!! 23Β Then Adam said, β€œThis is now bone of my bonesΒ and flesh of my flesh; she will be called Woman,Β for she was taken out of Man.”(iysh) 24Β Therefore a man (iysh) will leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh. As soon as Eve was Taken OUT of Adam... the word for MAN was changed from "Adam" to "Iysh". Why? Because in Adam was both male and female... Eve was inside of Adam from the beginning and that was the name God gave them. But when Eve was removed... His name stayed the same but this was the first time God was speaking of mankind as a whole... you see, we think when God was speaking of multiples when he would say Adam... God was speaking of Mankind... no God was speaking of those he had already created...
