🏍️ Riding While Pregnant…
I’ve been tossing around an idea and wanted to get your thoughts. As some of you know, I’m pregnant with baby #2. 💛 It’s got me wondering… would anyone actually be interested in a little series where I document my riding (or not riding!) throughout pregnancy? Not as advice, because every pregnancy is different and everyone’s circumstances are different. Listening to your own body (and your healthcare team) always comes first. More as a real-life journal of: • When I decided to stop riding • How my confidence changed (or didn’t) • Comfort, gear, and bike fit • The emotions that come with taking a break • Getting back on the bike after baby I feel like it’s a topic that isn’t talked about much, but I also don’t know if there’s actually any interest in it. So tell me… 🩷 Have you ridden while pregnant? 🩷 Would you be too scared to? 🩷 Is this something you’d genuinely be curious to follow, even if you’re not pregnant yourself? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👇

@Luce Taverner now I understand why you ride. Need to get out of the house hahaha
Gear Confession Time…
What’s the one piece of motorcycle gear you absolutely couldn’t ride without anymore? 🏍️ Helmet? 🧤 Gloves? 🎧 Cardo? 🧥 Favourite jacket? 🦵 Riding jeans? 👢 Boots? Or… 😅 What’s the piece of gear you thought was unnecessary until you tried it? I’ll start: Cardo. I used to think they were overrated. Now I feel weird riding without one. 😂 👇 What’s yours? Bonus points if you post a photo! 📸💖

Yesss! Great post- I keep wondering what gear is a must have and what is optional. As a beginner I want to buy it all but have to stop myself 🤣 My feed is full of hot bike gal photos too so it doesn’t make it easier. But at least it’s no longer biker boys 😋

@Luce Taverner so far my impression is that helmet (with balaclava) and gloves are essential, the rest is optional… However might be practical to get jacket and pants for protection? What about the biker boots? Feel conflicted- like all geared up is mostly for experienced bikers who does cool things and high speed. It is confusing after all 🧐

@Luce Taverner I’m looking at Stay Upright pre-learners course. Would this be the right way to begin or you think private lessons instead?
