✈️ "Bon Voyage": From a Sweet Goodbye to "Hit the Road, Jack!" 🤬
Originally, in the 1300s. , traveling was dangerous, so we said it to wish people a safe journey. English borrowed it later because it sounded polite. When you say it normally, you are wishing them well on their adventure. But we also use it when we are mad! If someone is annoying and says 'I'm leaving!', we say a short, angry 'Bon voyage!' In that context, it means 'Get out of here!' or 'Hit the road, Jack!' It means we want to wash our hands of that person. So, be careful how you say it!" @Rochelle Carr did you know the second definition ? Please adapt the subtitles in English

I always use this phrase as a blessing. Thanks for coaching us the second useage. Dear Coach(French) @Evelyne Vincent

@Roberto Yaselli From my understanding, it should be said in a jealous and sarcastic way.

The Big Story of the Small Fry! 🍟🌍
1. Who do you think really invented fries: France or Belgium? ( be careful not to lie 🤣) 2. How do you like to eat your fries? With ketchup, mayonnaise, or something else? 3. What is the strangest fry topping you have ever heard of? 4. Are there any Belgians in Skool?(Because Belgium has been part of France at several points in its history.) 1. Since you put it that way, this must be a tricky question. So I’ll go with Belgium. (Our famous detective Hercule Poirot is also Belgian, not French!) 2. I always eat my fries with classic ketchup; I’ve never tried mayo. 3. And the weirdest topping I can think of for fries is probably ice cream.
