Building in public, here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes. When I started Wovenpath Studios, my goal was to create games that feel familiar to the world but are rooted in Africa. We wanted genuinely fun games that carry our stories, settings and identity. Our first title, Savanna Run, follows Kesi, a village courier who recovers stolen goods and must outrun the one hunting to get them back. The game takes players on a journey home through market streets, savanna trails, riverside villages, and ancestral ruins, with the chase getting closer. Savanna Run is not just a dodge-and-run game. Players must stay sharp and survive as their life force drains. It’s simple to pick up but tense to keep playing. We’re building it for everyday players who want smooth, engaging and rewarding experiences on their phones that also look and feel like home. We don’t have big funding or a massive team.
