Let’s be real for a second.
What’s actually stopping you from working out? 1. No time 2. Too tired 3. No clean gym clothes 4. No motivation 5. Don’t know what to do 6. Don’t feel like going 7. I start… then stop Most people say “I don’t have time.” But half the time it’s just lack of prep. Gym bag not packed. Clothes not ready. No plan. So tell me… which one is yours? Lately it’s start and stop….its tax season and long works hours…in early, out late, so I really try to get weekend walks in now.
Safe Fast Food “Fun” Meal ??
Heeey, what’s y'all's safe fast food fun meal??? Mine is Chik-fil-A grilled nuggets with honey roasted bbq on the kale crunch salad and diet lemonade! When I tell you I DO NOT LEAVE THE PARKING LOT until I’m done! I just have me a nice little me-time, turn on one of my streaming apps and catch up on my current episode of Sistas and enjoy quiet time 🤗🤗

Yeeees!!! That’s also why I don’t call them cheat meals because you’re not cheating yourself. You are giving yourself what you want, in moderation and not depriving yourself (that could be tempting in moments where it’s easy to get off track) and then you go back to your regularly programmed schedule. 🤸🏽‍♀️
Late Start….Afternoon Snack 🍒 🍌 🍫
“Chocolate Covered Cherries” Smoothie I added banana, ground flax seed and chia seeds to this one! It didn’t have as much cherry flavor as I would have liked, maybe I can find some cherry flavored extract to add a tiny bit to it next time. I could not figure out what I wanted to eat, so I made this to hold me over until I can make my mind up.🥴 Enjoy this beautiful weekend!

@Jen Shelton Sure! It’s a 15-bean soup from the dry bean isle in either Kroger or Walmart. You can either soak them in cold water for 2 hours or 1 hour hot water. I did 1hr in hot water. While those soaked I brought 6 cups of veggie stock (any stock of choice will work) to a boil. You can add more as you go along if you see a need. I added a smoked turkey leg and let that cook down while the beans soaked. Once soaking was done, I sautéed celery, red bell pepper and 1/2 onion and minced garlic and added all of that and a can of roasted tomatoes to the pot. Also included in the bag of beans is a ham flavoring pack that’s optional. I let it all simmer on low for 35-40 minutes.
