LSA is moving?
I read that Google is officially moving Local Services Ads into the main Google Ads platform. They’ll become a specialized Performance Max campaign with pay-per-lead goals, not a traditional PMax campaign. LSAs will still be keywordless, appear only on Search and Maps, and charge for valid leads rather than clicks. They will do away with LSA dashboard. Any thoughts?

Good flag, Travis — the platform may change, but what a homeowner checks before calling usually does not. While LSA moves into Google Ads / Performance Max, I'd keep your Google Business Profile clean and current — accurate hours, services, and photos — and keep reviews coming in and answered. That way, even if the ad format or dashboard looks different during the change, the trust signals behind the lead stay steady and leads still have a reason to convert.
LSA Account needs help reviving!
Hi everyone! I'm reaching out for some help on reviving our LSA account. We used to get at least 3-4 roofing leads earlier and now we've stopped getting leads. I know it's a little late now, but is there anything that we can do to get the leads up again? Also, how long would it take for to get them up and is there an easier way? Like maybe creating a new account?

Before you start over with a new account, I'd check one thing on the profile you already have: how recent your reviews are, and whether any are still unanswered. A profile with older reviews and unanswered ones can look quiet to homeowners even if the star rating is fine, and a brand-new profile starts with zero trust history to replace it. Replying to the ones you have and getting a few fresh ones in is often a faster test than rebuilding from scratch.
Most Local Businesses Don’t Have a Traffic Problem, They Have a Conversion Problem
Quick observation: A lot of owners focus on getting more LSA visibility or more GBP views… But the real leak usually happens in one of three places: • Slow response time to new leads• Weak or generic Google Business Profile messaging• No proper follow-up system (missed calls = missed revenue) Even small tweaks, like tightening your service descriptions or improving first-response scripts, can significantly increase booked jobs without increasing ad spend. Curious: If you’re running LSAs right now, what’s been your biggest bottleneck, ranking, lead quality, or closing rate?

Spot on. One leak I see a lot is right between the click and the call: the reviews. People check them before they ever dial, and a thin or stale review profile makes even good rankings convert worse. Two things that help: ask for a review right after the job is done, while the customer is still happy, and reply to every review with something specific, not just thanks. That way the next person reading sees recent, real jobs and a business that actually responds.
