Hi all, new here. Am I following the correct process please?
1) create image in Midjourney, click creative (upscale) and download as PNG 2) use Upscayl and upscayl x4. (I’m finding that the file size after Upscayl is between 80-106mb depending on how complex the design is). This won’t go into canva unless the file size is reduced. 3) Import into Photoshop A0 template (841 x 1189mm) set to CMYK, set resolution to 300 pixels/inch. Is this correct? When I go to export it, which settings do I need to make the file size significantly smaller as a JPEG? I’ve read comments on here that it needs to be a certain size for Printshrimp (and to be imported into Canva as the limit is 25-50mb?)

Ok, so I’ve managed to find a method that’s a bit better. Use Upscayl to x4 upscale and set it to JPEG on the settings tab (scroll down to see the option JPEG). There’s an option to change the upscale to “digital art” so it’s worth trying that before you actually click “upscale” which is when it’ll upscale your image. It’ll give you a JPEG file that is less than 50mb which you can then put into canva.

I’ve been clicking “creatively” in Midjourney and then also upscaling x4 on the Upscayl app. Once I’ve done this I have a JPEG under 50mb which I can put into canva to make any edits/ or just choose to export
Advice
Hi, just wanted to check I’m following the right process. Am I supposed to upscale my image in Midjourney before taking it into Photoshop and listing on Etsy? What I’ve been doing so far is: creating the image in Midjourney → clicking Creative → opening it in Photoshop → saving as PSD and PNG → then listing on Etsy. I haven’t added any designs to PrintShrimp yet — I was planning to do that once a purchase is made — just wanted to make sure my workflow is correct before I go any further. Thanks!

@Jack Gowan hi Jack, so my final exported image from Photoshop has these dimensions: width (9933 pixels) and height (14043 pixels) with 300dpi. Just want to triple check that this is correct A0 size before I upload to printshrimp.
Upscayl question
When using Upscayl, I have been doing it in 2x increments as wanting to check progress and avoid weirdness. I'm I overthinking it and can I just go to 4x off the bat?

@Mihai Volintiriu Hi Mihai. I read a comment where you mentioned creating a script for Photoshop to resize/export under 25mb (before putting into Canva). So, after Upscayl x4, please can you let me know 1) what dimensions I need to set in Photoshop when I insert the Upscayl x4 image and 2) what should the export settings be for exporting as a JPEG under 25mb. Thanks, appreciate it.
Hi all. New here. Do I need to consider “bleed” when setting the A0 size in Photoshop?
My posters have this image size after exporting from Photoshop: 9933 x 14043 pixels and Image DPI is 762 pixels/inch. I followed all the steps, used midjourney and Upscayl. Thanks
