Total newbie here
Hey everyone! I’m Rob. I’ve been getting into reselling on eBay and am looking to learn tips, tricks, and strategies from folks who are crushing it. I went yesterday for my first look at goodwill. I didn't get anything mainly went to look.

Hello, and Welcome to the group.
Anyone make items to sell on Ebay?
I think about the different seasons that are coming up, and wander what it would be like to make some crafts to sell on eBay. Anyone do this? Do you have any luck with it?
I say we have our first challenge on here!
Here are the rules. Pick ten items that you have purchased after this date (7-9-25). Don't list any of these items until 7-20-25. Lets keep these items to clothing items only since this seams to be the area that most of us list from, We will give them 3 months to sell. So this challenge will end on 10-20-25. Only 10 items purchased after 7-9-25, must be clothing items, and can't list until 7-20-25. Challenge ends at 11:59 Central on 10-20-25. Only sells can be from Ebay, Poshmark, Macari, and other normal selling platforms. Does not include Whatnot or Facebook Market Place. The winner will be the person that makes the most profit after deducting Actual Purchase price of all ten items, and any fees for selling the item. Postage collected and paid must also be included. You must post all ten items on this posting before 7-20-25 to be included in the challenge. Who is ready for the challenge?

Very True
Advice Needed
One of my eBay stores is purely auto parts I picked up in a lot sale with over 109 items. All my items are listed and it’s been a couple months since my supplier has had new parts for me. So I have nothing new to list which I know affects my status in the eBay algorithm. I was ending and relisting regularly but now I hear that hurts your standing too. Any advice or recommendations on how I can keep my listings higher in the algorithm? I’ve revised a few times but don’t think it really has much impact.

If you can't get more new items, I would continue ending and relisting as new. However I would do it more randomly. I would end 20 items one day and maybe relist nothing, or 3-4. Then next day relist 8 items then the next maybe 2. As you go through these and use them up as new listings. Delist another larger quantity, and begin process again. To be honest, I don't think eBay is being truthful with there saying that doing this hurts your sales. As a matter of fact I know it doesn't because I see the sells bump on my older items as I do this.
Recent Rapid eBay Growth
May 90 day total just under $3,000 June 90 day total $4,000 July 90 day total $5,000 August 90 day total over $6,000 Today, $6,300+ and growing. What changed to cause this rapid growth during a period that most sellers slow down? 1. I found 2 vendors that have supplied me with quality Levi’s and Carhartt jeans and pants. 2. I have added golf clubs to my offerings beginning in mid-July. 3. I began using an AI lister to optimize my new listings and revise my oldest listings. I am also seeing similar increases on Poshmark.
