Ok. I'm know this aren't the best pictures to show your lovely pattern. But these are the best i could take for now. The task was, use leftovers. These we're mine. Not the colours i would have picked if it wasn't with leftovers, but very glad these are out of my stash basket now. Need to say. Getting dressed is very difficult with one arm, and i'm cold all the time. But this cardigan seems to be suprisently warm and handy with one arm! So i decided to join the competition for the zkcal 2026, even with those not flattering pictures. My face 🫣🫣🫣😱😱😱 So @Liene Kalniņa is this ok? To post the pictures just here? https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Wendybiccler/rujuu-sweater I will post better pictures when i'm feeling better. Big luck to everyone!

@Naheed Brown thank you! you're so sweet! Better days will come. I'm sure!
The Tawus Cardigan is now out with a step-by-step Classroom course
Tawus is the Arabic word for peacock. The name came from the lace motifs at the top of the yoke, which reminded me of a peacock tail. It is a sport weight lace cardigan using a top-down and seamless construction, which means you can try it on as you go. 😍 The upper yoke has more elaborate lacework that asks for your full attention, and there will be moments where it feels tricky. But it does click into place, and from there the lower body changes into a much simpler lace. There is a full step-by-step course available here in the Classroom that walks you through everything step by step. The pattern is available at zaneteknits.com/patterns, and because we just launched our new website, it's available for 20% less, along with all other self-published patterns, when using code WEB26. Newsletter subscribers, check today's newsletter for your exclusive code. 🎁 Offer expires end of day 10th of May, 23:59 BST and if you get any trouble with the code, please get in touch before completing the transaction as discounts can't be applied after the fact.

It is a joy to knit!
Wip 1 done
My do ewe yoke is finished! The body pictures will follow! I wanted the colors that zanete used, so i ordered yellow here and yellow there. But all the yellow was ocre when it arrived. So I have a lot of all sorts of yellow in my stash now!!! Finally found that yellow, in norway. Ao I will do this one again in the colours that are in my mind. Wip 2 is almost finished, the rujuu. 1 ribbon finished, the other one almost finished. And the cutting went well! Started very slowly with the regalia, but thats not a project to finish in ZKAL26. Maybe ZKAL27😂
Wip 1 done
Update wip 1 and 2
Finaly steeked my Rujuu. This night! When i finally was reaching the scissors part, couldn't stop and worked untill i could cut. Was like a big event to me. So excited! My sleeves were finished. But a bit short. So i fixed that to. Now need to find a ribbon to finish it! My do ewe yoke is nearly finished. Finishing the last cuff. I allready making a choice which pattern will be the next. So many choices,so many yarn, so many enthousiam, so less time, and only 2 hands....
