@Zanete Hussain do I counted extra enough? With the sweaters I knit withbyour patterns I always have seize 2. So I think that's the best size to compare now as well? I have in colour A and C only a little bit extra. Not a lot.

@Isabelle Johnson thank you!
colour combination
I spent a long time wracking my brain to put together a colour selection, but I’m having trouble deciding. What do you think of these colours? A: pale pink C: burgundy

Normally yes. But this wasn't my goal of this swatch. I wanted to know if the different yarns have 20 stiches/ 10 cm. Because, they are all leftovers.
Help with yarn choice
I've combed through my stash and came up with this combo: main: dark greens and blues, blending: burgundy, maroon, contrast: beige and powder pink, framing: black. I usually prefer dark, muted colours, and I'm happy with the combination. (though most of the sweaters I own are dark green... oh well, what can a girl do). Just few things I'm worried about: 1. I don't want a beige sweater. And though the colour category is listed as "contrast", it's A LOT of yarn! I'm afraid the sweater is going to be mostly beige. 2. I'm not sure if it's ok for the contrast colour to be lighter than the main colour - I've noticed that in some designs the pattern looks better if the base is light and the motif dark. Since this is a mystery knit, I've no way of knowing if it's going to work, or if it would be better to switch these two? 3. And lastly, being still a beginner, I'm not sure if it's ok to mix these materials. All of the yarns I picked are wool / merino / alpaca blends, BUT - is it ok to mix superwash and non-superwash treated yarn in one project? How will I block or wash the sweater when it is finished? (for example: dark green Malabrigo Worsted - single ply, non-superwash, and beige Rial SNC Morbidone - plied, superwash treated)

Maybe switch A and C. Then it's the other way around?
