So I’m a teacher at a charter cyber school. I teach students with autism…but just found out that here in Pennsylvania, a bill was passed that is reducing funding of charter cyber schools by 40%. Our school is also nonprofit. So what does this mean…restructuring the budget which entails a reduction in force. There a meeting on December 15th to see what this looks like. I have 8 years in with a doctorate and many endorsements on my teaching certificate so I’m not low on the totem pole but there’s a possibility I’ll lose my job.
