πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ 3 Canadian Universities I Recommend for Full Scholarships (Master's Degree)
If you're serious about pursuing your Master's Degree in Canada for FREE, then you need to be applying to these 3 scholarships. 1️⃣ McCall MacBain Scholarship (McGill University) 2️⃣ Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (McGill University) 3️⃣ Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (University of British Columbia) How to Apply: 1️⃣ McGill University (McCall MacBain Scholars Program) Apply for the scholarship first before applying to McGill for admission. The application portal opens June 1, 2026 at mccallmacbainscholars.org. You'll need to complete the online application form, upload your CV/resume, provide transcripts, and submit two reference lettersβ€”one academic and one that speaks to your character and leadership. Current students and recent graduates must get an endorsement from their university before submitting. International applicants have a deadline around August 20, while Canada/US applicants have until around September 24. If you're selected as a finalist, you'll then apply to your chosen McGill program by December, and approximately 85 finalists will be invited to Montreal for in-person interviews with travel costs covered. 2️⃣ Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (McGill University) Start by confirming your eligibility on the McGill Mastercard Foundation website. You must register for and attend one of their mandatory information sessions... this is the only way to receive the link to the application form. Complete and submit the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program application by the deadline. If you pass the pre-screening phase, you'll receive a fee waiver and detailed instructions to apply for admission to McGill. Do not apply directly to McGill or contact professors before being invited. Only students who receive the fee waiver through the scholarship application will be considered for the award. The application typically opens in August with a deadline in late August or October.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ 4 Canadian Universities I Recommend for Full Scholarships (Bachelor's Degree)
Listen, there are over 100 universities in Canada. But if you're an international student looking for a fully funded undergraduate education (tuition + living expenses = $0 out of pocket), only a handful actually deliver. These are my top 4 recommendations: 1️⃣ University of Regina β€” International Student of Distinction Scholarship 2️⃣ University of British Columbia β€” International Scholars Program 3️⃣ University of Toronto β€” Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship 4️⃣ Simon Fraser University β€” Undergraduate Scholars Entrance Scholarship (USES) How to Apply: University of Regina: Applying is straightforward. Go to the University of Regina admissions website at uregina.ca/admissions and create an account to start your online application. You'll need to submit your high school transcripts, proof of English proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL if English isn't your first language), and pay the application fee (approximately $100 CAD). University of British Columbia: UBC requires two separate applications: one for admission and one for the International Scholars Program. For admission, go to you.ubc.ca/applying-ubc and create an account. You'll complete UBC's online application, submit your transcripts, provide English proficiency scores, write a personal profile (short essays about your activities and experiences), and pay the application fee (approximately $116 CAD). The admission deadline is typically December 1 for fall entry. For the International Scholars Program, you must complete a separate scholarship application through the same portal after you've started your admission application. This requires four essays, a nominator (someone who knows you well, like a teacher or mentor), a teacher referee, and detailed financial documentation proving your family cannot afford the cost of attendance.

Updated USA Travel Ban List
THIS IS MY RECOMMENDATION ON WHAT TO DO IF YOUR COUNTRY IS BANNED. The US just expanded its travel ban. Starting January 1, 2026, students from 39 countries will NO LONGER be able to get F1 student visas. WHAT HAPPENED: On December 16, 2025, President Trump signed a new proclamation expanding the travel ban from 19 to 39 countries. This takes effect January 1, 2026. WHAT THE BANS MEAN: πŸ”΄ FULL BAN = ALL visas blocked. No student visas. No tourist visas. No work visas. No green cards. Nothing. 🟠 PARTIAL BAN = Student visas (F-1), tourist visas (B-1/B-2), and exchange visas (J-1) are BLOCKED. Some work visas like H-1B are still possible but limited to 3 months. WHO'S AFFECTED: If you're already in the US with a valid visa β†’ You can stay If you leave the US and your visa is still valid β†’ You can return (but expect extra screening) If you're outside the US with no valid visa β†’ You CANNOT get a new one If your visa expires β†’ You CANNOT renew it FULL BAN (20): Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, Syria, Laos, Sierra Leone, + Palestinian Authority PARTIAL BAN (19): Burundi, Cuba, Togo, Venezuela, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, Dominica, Gabon, The Gambia, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Tonga, Zambia, Zimbabwe WATCHLIST (Leaked) May Be Added Next: Bhutan, Cambodia, Cameroon, Djibouti, DR Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, Tuvalu, Uganda, and Vanuatu. If you're already in the US, you can stay. But if you leave, you might not be able to come back. How to get a Full Scholarship for Your Bachelor's Degree (USA)
To secure a fully funded scholarship in the U.S., the process is simple but requires preparation. This guide here is specifically for first-year (freshman) applicants. These are students who have a high school diploma (it is ok if you completed high school several years ago) and have never enrolled in a college or university. If you have attended any college or university after high school, pursued or earned a Higher National Diploma (HND), or completed any post-secondary qualification, you are considered a transfer student and should follow the transfer application process instead. 🏫 STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE (first-year year students): 1. First, you need to find schools that give full scholarships to international students... I’ve made a list you can check out here or you can get the full eBook here: https://stan.store/williamlebeau/p/30-colleges-that-fully-fund-international-students. I have also added a school list at the bottom of this post. 2. Once you have your schools, the next step is to apply... You are going to use the Common App to apply: https://www.commonapp.org. I created a guide to make the Common App easy for international students, which you can find here: https://stan.store/williamlebeau/p/common-app-made-simple-for-international-students. You can also watch my YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/2yYYGHaIK04 3. After applying, you’ll need to submit the CSS Profile at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org before the deadline and make sure all your documents are submitted. The CSS profile is how schools determine how much money you need for your scholarships. You can get a fee waiver for the CSS by looking at the list of schools that give CSS fee waivers here: https://www.skool.com/study-for-free-in-the-usa-6027/10-universities-with-css-fee-waivers-full-funding-part-2?p=40336729. You can also watch a video of how to fill out the CSS here: https://youtu.be/7RMaX-NoiBQ
