It all began with a 3-month programming course, and honestly, I didn’t even know how to shut down my computer at that time (lol). It was recommended by my uncle, but honestly, everything went over my head, and I didn’t pay much attention to it. After that, I got busy with college and I also started my e-commerce business. I used to sell replicas of luxury brands through Facebook ads. I made decent money, enough to match what an educated adult might earn, and then I shut it down for no particular reason and decided to learn SEO. Then, I started a 9-to-5 job at an agency, which was pretty hectic. At the agency, I also learned video editing. I enjoy making videos, especially 2D animation, and experimented with different business models like affiliate marketing, YouTube automation, and more. I started making a little money here and there, then eventually quit the job. Now, here's where I got to know about COPYWRITING. 8-9 months ago, a friend of mine, he is a funnel designer, came to me and asked me to write and edit the VSL for his client. I said yes because he knew I wrote decent scripts for YouTube. So, I went on YouTube and searched for “how to write a VSL.” I watched a video, and it took me almost 3 days just to write the script. I delivered that project, and 3 weeks later, my friend came to me and said: “bro, remember the video you wrote and edited?” I said, “Yeah.” He replied, “That video earned my client 14k, and he sold like 14 of his $997 courses.” I was shocked like, what is this? At that time, I charged $250 for that VSL. FUN FACT: I didn’t even know that was literally copywriting. Then, about a month later, I came across another ‘VSL video’ on YouTube. I watched more videos from that channel, and that’s when I really got to know about copywriting. Now, I’m working even harder on my skills and focusing on adding more value to my clients.
